Plan: I want to see products on a category PLP in a table view for easy search experience.
As we dig into the technical aspects of implementing Table View on PLP we want to explore only displaying a subset of products on initial page load and add a “View More” or “View All” or “Show All” option.
The Plan
Table View will allow us to lazy load products as the user scrolls without impacting page speed due to the potential large amount of calls that may occur when there are hundreds or even thousands of products on an individual Table View category page.
Stories will define the experience for the following user types
- All User (HDS and HDP)
Stories will span the following pages/features and scenarios:
- Desktop Category PLP pages
- mWeb Category PLP pages

Search and Find User Research (UXR)
Over two weeks, 7 HDS customers/sales representatives across the Multifamily and Hospitality verticals were interviewed to learn about common pain points on HDsupplysolutions.com and how to make it easier to find products online.
The following highlights represent common themes captured during interviews and opportunities for HDS products to consider as opportunities improve ATC Rate and CSAT.
- Each session was 30 mins long
- Each participant shared their screen and walked us through their shopping process
- First half of the interview was from a Figma prototype for the new improved Table View and
- Second half was live on the current website following their normal processes.
