The Me Show

  • A Little About Me

I used to skateboard on the Amateur, Semi-Pro level for about 10 years. I was sponsored by two major companies in the 90's. As a result of all my time being spent skateboarding, I didn't really get to pursue my real love; Art, until I was much older. That didn't stop me from changing my life.

When I was younger I was into traditional art all throughout school, until one day I took a tour of Columbia College in Chicago. It was that day my love of the Digital Arts evolved. I immediately went into the computer lab and started working with Microsoft Paint, 1992. Back then that's all we had, not like today, when your taught Photoshop in the 5th grade.

I enrolled at the Art Institute of Los Angeles, and later came home to Chicago and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art—Chicago, in the fall of 2003. By that time I had developed a love for 3D design, and received a Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. A whole new world of design!

  • Mission

    MIS·SION [mish-uhn] –noun
1.a summary describing the aims, values, and overall plan of an organization or individual.
2.the business with which such a group is charged.

MY MISSION ... I thrive on showcasing my talents in any imaginable combination. Whether it's modeling a package design in 3D, showing a client the idea of seeing an object in space as a whole, is better then rendering a 2D image and saying, "visualize this in 3D space", or as simple as adapting a slide presentation into a 20 second bright and energetic animation filled with movement and explosions of life that is both visually enjoyable and exciting to watch. Regardless, you will get nothing but top notch service when it comes to my work!

  • Vision

    VI·SION [vizh-uhn] –noun
1.the act or power of sensing with the eyes; sight.
2.the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision.

VISION ... Many people mistake vision statement for mission statement. The Vision describes a future identity and the Mission describes why it will be achieved. A Mission statement defines the purpose or broader goal for being in existence or in the business. It serves as an ongoing guide without time frame. The mission can remain the same for decades if crafted well. Vision is more specific in terms of objective and future state. Vision is related to some form of achievement if successful.
Mine is to strive to be the best possible person I can be, and at the same time fully develop into the strongest potentially creative person I can be. Take a look around, I hope you enjoy the site.
